1989年にグラビアアイドルとしてデビュー後瞬く間に人気トップアイドルに。翌年のクラリオンガールに選ばれてから、グラビア以外にも歌、芝居、テレビ番組のアシスタントと仕事の幅が広がりました。志村けんさんのコント番組にも出演したことも。現在はタレントとしてドラマや旅番組で活躍中。
