自由奔放な発言が「キリコる」と呼ばれるタレント。1987年「チャイルズ」の一員として『笑っていいとも！』アシスタント・5代目いいとも青年隊に選ばれ、知名度が全国区に。女優として多数ドラマに出演するほかバラエティで活躍しています。レギュラー出演するトーク番組『はやく起きた朝は…』は25年以上続く日曜朝の人気番組になっており、舞台化、映画化もしています。
