Cynthia Nixon, best known for her role as Miranda Hobbes in “S*x and the City,” has long been a champion for social causes. Christine Marinoni, an educator and LGBTQ+ advocate, is also known for her work in politics and activism. The two met in 2001 during a New York City political event.
They started dating in 2004, and in 2009, they became engaged. Cynthia and Christine welcomed their son, Max, in 2011 and married the following year. Cynthia, who also has two children from a previous relationship, has praised Christine’s quiet yet steadfast support. Their partnership is rooted in mutual respect and a shared commitment to advocacy and family.
