Cynthia Nixon, best known for her role as Miranda Hobbes in “S*x and the City,” has long been a champion for social causes. Christine Marinoni, an educator and LGBTQ+ advocate, is also known for her work in politics and activism. The two met in 2001 during a New York City political event.
They started dating in 2004, and in 2009, they became engaged. Cynthia and Christine welcomed their son, Max, in 2011 and married the following year.
