Patricia, quien llegó a la fama a los seis años de edad, fue una concursante de belleza que fue reportada como desaparecida (supuestamente secuestrada) en diciembre de 1996. Incluso se encontró una nota de rescate, en la cual pedían por ella una suma de 118.000 dólares, una cifra similar a un bono que el padre de la familia había cobrado hacía pocas semanas. Pero después de buscar en su propia casa, su cuerpo fue descubierto en el sótano. El caso nunca fue resuelto y nunca existió siquiera un sospechoso del terrible asesinato. Su cuerpo tenía rastros de asfixia y de un choque eléctrico.
