25. Barney Martin – LUNG CANCER
Barney had been doing comedy since his days in the police force. After fighting in World War II, he became part of the NYPD and he would write comedy sketches and perform for his fellow workers in the force. Therefore, before Barney Martin became a well-known actor, he was already an established writer. You might remember him for his role in the movie The Producers, and for his portrayal of Morty Seinfeld in Seinfeld. He was another victim of lung cancer and passed away in March 2005 at the age of 82. – So, to all the smokers out there, quitting now is as good a time as any.
