Most Expensive Weddings Ever
Princess Hajah Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah and Pengiran Haji Muhammad Ruzaini – $15M
The nation of Brunei had a week’s worth of celebrating for the wedding of the Sultan of Brunei’s daughter to Pengiran Haji Muhammad Ruzaini in 2012. Princess Hajah Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah met her future husband while she was working in Brunei in Governmental business. There was a civil ceremony on September 20, then on September 23, they held a luxurious celebration. The ceremony was held at the Brunei Monarch’s very own private 1,700-room palace. The couple was extremely opulent, even selecting flora made from crystals and precious gems rather than real flowers for their décor!
Prince Charles’ second wedding wasn’t nearly as lavish as his first, but it sure did make it on this list!
