Eddie Murphy and Nicole Mitchell – $1.5M
We bet you had no idea Eddie Murphy would make it on this list! He actually splurged on a very expensive wedding to Nicole Mitchell, which took place at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. The wedding cost $1.5 million, but that was back in 1993. Could you imagine the cost of recreating that wedding today? After their function, they did perform an act of charity by donating all the flowers from the event to a Harlem hospital. However, the beautiful ceremony was not enough to keep these two from filing for divorce in 2006.
