The “Ferris Bueller” House – $1.06 Million
If you’re a huge fan of the 1986 classic Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and happen to be in the process of buying a home, then this house where the filming took place could be your inspiration. Located in Highland Park, Illinois, the house got a new owner in 2014, who purchased it for $1.06 million – more than a million below the first asking price of $2.3 million. The structure was designed by A. James Speyer and currently, it went through a major restoration, getting a new and more modern look.
Although used for shooting one of Hollywood’s blockbusters, the owner of this house doesn’t allow tourists on his property anymore! Click NEXT to find out more.
