Siempre listo para una nueva aventura, Steve entretuvo a la audiencia en National Geographic con la caza de cocodrilos. Él amaba el desierto, el peligro, la selva y los animales. Una púa de mantarraya lo llevó a su muerte después de que le perforó el pecho durante el rodaje de un documental.
