La serie Everybody Loves Raymond resultó ser un tema de índole familiar para Sawyer Sweeten, y nunca mejor dicho: no sólo el actor que encarnaba a Geoffrey Barone y actuaba junto a su hermano gemelo Sullivan, que interpretaba a Michael, sino que además, la hermana mayor, Madylin, apareció junto a ellos en el papel de Ally. Y fue justamente Madylin Sweeten quien hizo una declaración desgarradora en abril de 2015 confirmando que su hermano pequeño se había quitado la vida con un arma de fuego a pocas de semanas de su vigésimo cumpleaños.
