Gemeinsam schlanker: Ein übergewichtiges Paar verändert seinen Lebensstil und verwirklicht seine Träume
Eine Jugend mit Gewichtsproblemen
Fast scheint es so, als hätte Lexi von Geburt an gegen ihre Gewichtsprobleme kämpfen müssen. Sie war schon als Kind übergewichtig und hatte viele Jahre versucht abzunehmen, doch der berüchtigte JoJo-Effekt ließ sie immer wieder scheitern. Aber trotz dieser Rückschläge blieb Lexi im Grunde ein offener und fröhlicher Mensch, der sich durch sein Übergewicht nicht vollständig unterkriegen ließ.
Als sie jedoch Mitte zwanzig war, wurde ihr Gewicht zu einem ernsten Problem. Lexi hatte noch stärker zugenommen und bei einem Gewicht von knapp 180 Kilo fühlte sie sich überhaupt nicht mehr wohl in ihrer Haut. An diesem Punkt trat unerwartet Danny in ihr Leben.
