Who says theaters are for dorks? Michael Caine was in many, but he proved to be one iconic star of his generation. As an experienced film wingman, he smashed roles in ‘Batman’ and ‘Kingsman,’ aging like a fine wine. In his 80s and 130 films under his belt, the legendary actor happily departed from the limelight, facing the next phase in retirement.

‘Zulu’ was the film that broke Caine into mainstream success. His applause-worthy performance gained two more career-defining roles in ‘Alfie’ and ‘The Ipcress File,’ where he showed a wide range of acting chops. In over 60-year Hollywood career, he achieved any actor’s greatest feat; winning an Oscar and hand-printing along with the squares of London.
