Tom Selleck has made a fair number of houses quite famous, but not precisely by living there! After his roles on TV shows like Magnum P.I as well as his current show Blue Bloods, the places where his characters lived during the shows have made the news. Such was the case with the home in Hawaii portrayed on Magnum P.I. which went on the market for $15M. The place depicted here is the home of Officer Frank Reagan, which is the role Selleck plays in the long-running TV show. The backyard of his own home probably looks very different as he has made an investment in growing avocados!

Max Baer Jr. reached fame for his role in The Beverly Hillbillies which was definitely the highest point of his acting career. After that, he decided to develop a business plan that was mostly based on his past show, attempting to open a casino, which unfortunately didn’t go very well for him. At 81 years of age, he is the only surviving member of the cast. He bought a house in Nevada and has lived there for the past years, away from the spotlight after working not only as an actor but also as a producer and director.

Country music icon Dolly Parton put her place in Nashville up for sale at $1.2M. With 2.4 acres, the estate belonged to Dolly for more than two decades and she lived there with her husband Carl Dean. The year 2019 has so far been a good period for Dolly. She was honored with a special gala in February and then appeared in the Grammys, singing her iconic song Jolene together with Miley Cyrus, for which Dolly was much acclaimed. Dolly keeps looking radiant at 73 and she has said without any shame that plastic surgery has certainly gotten her where she is looking as awesome as she does. And she certainly looks good!
