Celebrities Who Are Still Alive And Not Planning Their Retirement Just Yet
Marsha Hunt – 103
Though Marsha Hunt appeared in very popular films, she never fully managed to achieve an A-list status. This was probably caused by the fact that her career and job opportunities had been dramatically limited during the ’50s when she fell victim to Hollywood’s infamous McCarthyism blacklist. Her portfolio includes appearances in highly acclaimed films such as Pride and Prejudice and Born To The West. As she grew up, Hunt devoted her life to activism, raising awareness for humanitarian issues around the world, as well as trying to promote eco-friendly causes.
June Lockhart – 96
June Lockhart’s peak during her acting career was throughout the 1950s and 1960s. During this time, she was cast in acclaimed productions like Lassie, Lost in Space, and Petticoat Junction. She received recognition for her exemplary performances through several awards, including a Tony Award for her work on Broadway. Behind the scenes, June suffered a lot of heartbreak in her personal life which didn’t mirror the success she achieved in her career. She had the misfortune of going through a divorce several times. Even so, she was able to build herself a $10-million wealth which she can now enjoy in her golden years.
Robert Clary – 95
Robert Clary, now 92 years old, was originally born in France, where he experienced a pretty tough childhood. Growing up in a Jewish family, he became the victim of a Nazi concentration camp. During his awful time in the camp, he attempted to bring life and what happiness he could to the trapped people by entertaining them with his acting skills. Luckily, Robert was able to survive the Holocaust. In the years following such tragedy, Robert became extremely popular as an actor in both France and the United States. He is probably best known for his role as Corporal Louis LeBeau in the TV series Hogan’s Heroes. Having survived a tragic start to life, he was able to build a nice $20 million net worth for himself, which he can know relax and enjoy in his retirement.
