4. James Avery – COMPLICATIONS FROM OPEN HEART SURGERY
You may recognize James Avery for he played the role of Uncle Phil on the show, The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air. James had many other talents, including writing and a love for poetry. This might have been what led him to have the honor of giving not one but two commencement speeches at his alma mater in UC San Diego. When he was 68 years old, James had to undergo open-heart surgery. Some things were just really inevitable for his surgery had some complications that later led to his death in December 2013.
