Schon seit 16 Jahren ist Jam Hofer bereits das Gesicht der Nachrichten in Deutschland. Jeden Abend sah man ihn als Hauptnachrichtensprecher der „Tageschau“ pünktlich um acht in der ARD. Jan Hofer hat bereits 3 Kinder aus mehreren langen Beziehungen in der Vergangenheit. Auch mit seiner aktuellen Ehefrau, Phong Lan, hat er einen Sohn, die beiden heirateten 2018 in aller Öffentlichkeit. Doch Jan Hofer ist nicht das Gesicht der Tageschau, sondern war auch schon in vielen anderen Formaten im deutschen Fernsehen zu sehen. In letzter Zeit sah man ihn sogar in Filmen und Serien, wo er allerdings meistens sich selber gespielt hat.
