A história de perda de peso de Mama June é verdadeiramente inspiradora, pois ela conseguiu perder tanto peso que deixaria os outros deprimidos. Ela começou com dieta e exercício, passou por cirurgia de bypass gástrico e continuou com uma dieta saudável e adequada e um regime de condicionamento físico diário que resultou em uma mulher que parece pouco semelhante ao seu eu anterior. Os cerca de 136 quilos que ela perdeu precisaram de mais cirurgias, pois havia muita pele solta que precisava ser removida (e tinha uma cirurgia de aumento de mama ao lado), mas agora ela não é apenas mais saudável do que nunca, mas a mais quente que já esteve!
