Pontiac GTO TO Lamborghini Aventador Roadster – $30K Investment
This 2013 duplicate of the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster was seen on Craigslist. Its base was a Pontiac GTO model from 2004. The GTO featured prominently in the duplicate vehicle, as seen in the mechanicals, electronics, and drivetrain. Also, there was a prop engine mid-vehicle and the real one was still up front. However, the advertisement said it had a V127.0-liter engine of 700 hp. The specs were wrong for an actual Aventador, but the design standard was there. Plus, there were no convertible GTOs. This auto had a push-button starter (so no lost car key issues), and a Lamborghini emblem on the steering, so much work was done on it. The price was $30K. A real 2019 Aventador starts at $403K.
