Ha cercato di sostenere la sua fede attraverso i film Left Behind e Fireproof. Salvare il Natale è stato il suo ultimo sforzo in materia, ma il film stesso non è stato ben accolto. Nel 2019, è stato ospite di un episodio di The Doctors.
