Prince wearing fancy and weird outfits was no new thing, but he really took it to another level in 1993, when he decided to wear his famous “Chainmail Policeman” costume on stage during one of his sold-out performances. Prince wasn’t a heavy metal singer, but that was a heavy metal outfit for sure! We never got to know if it was created by a designer, but Prince collaborated with many artists at the time, so it must have been the creation of someone who was rather big in the industry. The world mourned when, in 2016, Prince died after accidentally overdosing on prescription drugs.
