Michael J. Fox, bekannt für Marty McFly auf Back to the Future, trat auch in der TV-Serie Family Ties auf, die ihm vor diesem zeitreisenden Film Weltruhm verschaffte. Allerdings wurde er mit seiner Arbeit langsamer, da sich sein Gesundheitszustand mit der Parkinson-Krankheit verschlechterte. The Good Wife und eine Reihe von Shows, wie Scrubs und Boston Legal bewiesen, dass dieser Mann nicht derjenige ist, der auf Depressionen steht. Er setzte sein Handeln fort, ohne von dieser schweren Krankheit besiegt zu werden. Im Jahr 2019 erschien Fox in einem neuen Film namens See You Yesterday.
