Die Schauspielerin Claudia Wells wurde in Malaysia geboren. Sie ist bekannt für ihre Rolle in Back to the Future, die sie zusammen mit ihrem Kollegen Michael J. Fox spielt. Obwohl der Film sehr beliebt war, konnte sie ihre Rolle in den Fortsetzungen nicht fortsetzen, weil ihre Mutter an Krebs erkrankte. Elisabeth Shue ersetzte sie als Jennifer Parker.
