Although his asking price was $2.35 million, the three-time NBA champion Larry Bird eventually sold his Indianapolis mansion for $2.3 million in 2019. A Boston Celtics Hall of Famer, “The Hick from French Lick,” bought the prestigious home sitting atop 1.5 acres of land in 2002. The residence skirts 10,000 square feet of living space.
Custom-built for Larry, it boasts five bedrooms and seven bathrooms and comes with a family room with a fireplace and a family dining area. Fittingly, the 12-time NBA All-Star loved its massive living room, work-home office, and outdoor specialties like a swimming pool and a full-sized tennis court.
