Ann Wilson – 60 Pounds – Adjustable Gastric Band
Singer Ann Wilson was well aware that she experienced some weight gain over her career, so much so that it caused her some serious issues. The negative media attention led to her experiencing panic attacks but she was determined not to let it beat her. Wilson was on a mission for weight loss and decided the best way forward would be through adjustable gastric band surgery. The procedure she had in 2002 helped her lose about 60 pounds. However, she battled with substance addiction issues causing her to develop liver problems in 2009 from excessive drinking. We are glad she went for therapy, and in 2018, she released her second solo album.
