Edward Norton portrayed the notorious character of Derek in American History X whereby he had to pack up on muscle weight and develop a six-pack. The astonishing thing is that he accomplished it in only three months – talk of major inspiration. Harsh fitness training and tattoo drawings were part of the preparations. Rumor has it that his ink-work and buffness drew the attention of muscle man Arnold Schwarzenegger who was interested in whether steroids were used. It turns out that the actor did not take anything to transform into Derek.
