Der Star von Lost, Jorge Garcia, wurde zum ersten Mal in seiner Rolle als Hector Lopez in der CBS-Sitcom-Serie öffentlich bekannt gemacht. Becker wurde erstmals 1998 uraufgeführt. Einige Projekte später spielte er dann in Hawaii 5-0, in der Rolle von Jerry Ortega, und wurde sofort ein Fanfavorit bis zu seiner Abreise kurz vor der Premiere der 10. Staffel. Vor dem Ruhm war der Schauspieler sehr aktiv in der Ausbildung und wurde sogar als Senior als “Triton des Jahres” ausgezeichnet. Es ist nicht gerade überraschend, wenn man bedenkt, dass er aus einer bildungsorientierten Familie stammt, in der seine Mutter als Professor und sein Vater als Arzt arbeitet.
