Der preisgekrönte Special Visual Effects-Künstler Nick Dudman schuf eines seiner besten Meisterwerke, als er Fiennes für die Rolle des Lord Voldemort in Harry Potter verwandelte. Dudmans Team hielt den prothetischen Einsatz auf ein Minimum, aber der Schauspieler musste Brust, Arme und Kopf abschaben. Glücklicherweise musste er sich keiner Nasenoperation unterziehen, da der eigentümliche Look digital erreicht wurde. Es ließ es so aussehen, als ob er für eine Nasenoperation nach Frankenstein gegangen wäre, aber am Ende verkörpert er die Gruseligkeit und Schreckhaftigkeit des “Wer nicht genannt werden soll”.
