Another beauty queen who married an athlete is the gorgeous Amelia Vega, NBA player Al Horford’s wife. The busy woman with an enviable portfolio is from the Dominican Republic and she was crowned Miss Universe in 2003. She is an actress, singer, model, and she owns two boutiques in Miami. Amelia clearly got her looks from her mother who also represented her country at a Miss World pageant. After two years of dating, Amelia and Al tied the knot in December 2011.
