Bill Nunn – LEUKEMIA
Nunn, known for his roles in the Spiderman series and Do The Right Thing died of leukemia in 2016 at the age of 62. He tried different medical treatments to fight the disease, but he lost the battle in the end. Family and friends were devastated, especially because modern medicine proved successful in treating leukemia, but it was not enough in Nunn’s case. What can we say, except that it was God’s will? Nunn wanted to give back to the community so he started his own outreach program in Pittsburgh in 2008.
