Jennifer Beals – Flashdance, geboren 1963
Jennifer Beals erschien 1983 im Blockbuster-Film Flashdance und wurde sofort als Tanzkönigin bekannt. Jedes Mädchen damals wollte so sein und tanzen wie sie. Ihre Tanzszenen wurden in vielen Videos und anderen Filmen auf der ganzen Welt kopiert. Allerdings war es ihr egal und sie kehrte nach Yale zurück, um ihr Studium abzuschließen, wo sie während der Dreharbeiten zu Flashdance eine Yale-Studentin war. Auch nach ihrem Abschluss hat sie ihre Schauspielkarriere fortgesetzt, hat aber nie wieder die gleiche Popularität erlangt. Beals wird in einer neuen Show namens The L Word die Hauptrolle spielen: Generation Q.
