145. Maurice White – PARKINSON’S DISEASE
Maurice White had such a fruitful career with his group, Earth, Wind, and Fire. He won numerous Grammy awards and nominations throughout the course of his career since he was a very talented singer-songwriter. He was the co-lead of the band, main songwriter as well as a producer for their works. White was also a Rock N’ Roll Hall of Famer as well as in a Songwriters Hall of Famer. He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease during the ’80s and struggled with it until 2016 when he finally passed away in his sleep at age 74.
